Lake of the Ozarks Annual Pub Crawl

Lake of the Ozarks Christmas Parade – December 11, 2010 at 1PM!

The 26th Annual “Christmas Magic” Lake Area Parade will be held on Saturday, December 11, 2010 at 1:00 pm.    Our Grand Marshall this year is Mrs. Stanton, who along with her husband founded STANTON MANUFACTURING.   The parade route, as always, is Bagnell Dam Boulevard from Tomahawk Motel to the Dam.  The Parade will be lead by the Maine Corp League Honor Guard.

Santa and Mrs. Claus and their adorable elves, will be arriving in style in Santa’s beautiful Red Sleigh, attached to 6 Seadoo’s, riding on a platform.  They are pulled by Casper the semi-truck, which is lit with over 2,000 lights.  Along with the lights are over 100 ft of garland.  Numerous Christmas songs will fill the air with sounds of the season, and Santa’s helpers on board will toss out treats!

Santa’s ride is provided by Glencove Marine, your exclusive Formula & SeaDoo dealer at the Lake and was built by a collaborative effort of Steve Lemens, Pam Leeper, Mike Kolar, Pat Lemens of Glencove Marine, Glen & Sonya Colliver of Sonya’s Photography, and Randy & Kerry Mueller from Osage Auto Body.

We expect the return of many of the previous attractions such as, The School of the Osage Marching Band, Corvette Car Club, Camden County Saddle Club, The Shriners, Clowns, plus other familiar Motorcycle Organizations, Car Clubs, Civic Organizations, and Dance Troupes just to name a few.

Lake of the Ozarks Real Estate Update – 2009 sales vs. 2010 – BUY NOW!

Unprecedented low mortgage rates and an incredible inventory of properties exceed most expectations.

Here are the real estate statistics at the Lake of the Ozarks for the first three quarters of 2010 vs. the first three quarters of 2009.

Waterfront Home Sales: The number of sales in 2010 is up 1.3% from 2009. The average sales price is down 2%. The number of waterfront bank owned sales is up 70%.

Off-Water Home Sales: The number of sales in 2010 is up 6.2% from 2009. The average sales price is down 4%. The number of off-water bank owned sales has doubled.

Condominium Sales: The number of sales in 2010 is up .06% from 2009. The average sales price is down 4%. The number of bank owned condo sales has increased by 135%.

Commercial Sales: The number of sales in 2010 is down 4.3% from 2009. The average sales price is up 49%. The number of bank owned commercial sales is up 67%.

Lots and Land Sales: The number of sales in 2010 is up 11% from 2009. The average sales price is down 4.61%. The number of bank owned lots/land sales is up 71%.

Transactions for all types of property for the first three quarters of 2010 number 1374 compared to 1341 for the same period in 2009.
